There is very little presence of COVID-19 in the Adirondack Park. According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 Dashboard, there have been 70 confirmed cases of the disease in Franklin County since it was first confirmed to be present on March 25th. The area has begun reopening as there has been fewer than 1 new case every three days for the last two months.
In case of any accident or illness while staying at Camp Eastwood, there are multiple medical locations nearby. The Adirondack Medical Center, a well reputed regional hospital, is located 15 minutes to the east of the house. There is also an Adirondack Health urgent care center to the West in Tupper Lake, NY.
In the very unlikely case of an extreme accident or illness, patients are able to be airlifted from the Adirondacks to the world-renowned University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, VT for specialized care.
