Our family gathered at this amazing property. The home was immaculate, beautifully furnished inside and out. We spent the majority of our time on the property to enjoy fishing off the dock, kayaking, brought our own boat, evening campfires. The stars at night were breathtaking. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We would recommend this rental and it was the perfect location for us to all gather.
I rented Camp Eastwood for a week in July for a family reunion on Upper Saranac Lake. We had 13 adults and two 8-10 year old children staying at Eastwood and 7 other adults and two children who were staying at my home on the lake, but spending the days and evenings, and having dinners at Eastwood. Camp Eastwood had more than enough room for everyone. Everything was very clean and neat. The grounds were spectacular and the view and lakefront were wonderful. Everyone enjoyed being able to congregate together and swim and boat in beautiful Upper Saranac Lake. The road in was well graded and there was plenty of parking space which made it easy for the guests to get in and out. The owners were easy to work with and responsive. The home had more than enough kitchen equipment for the meals and plenty of room for all the people. Two laundry rooms made it easy for the guests to keep up with laundry. I would highly recommend.
The great room is the heart of the house where family can gather to cook, dine, or warm up by the gas fireplace. Our dining table has room for 10 comfortably! Need more room? Our table expands for additional seating. This dining area faces the front of our home, with breathtaking views of the great outdoors. The massive natural wood deck and attached screened in room offer spectacular lake views and comfortable outdoor seating. On the lower level, you’ll find a play room containing a pool table, foosball table, and a home theater system. Continue down the hall and you’ll have access to a home gym and steam room.
